Morsels debuted in January 2013 as a compact 50-seater restaurant. Today, it occupies a 1,000 sqf rustic barnyard-style space in iconic Dempsey Hill. Surrounded, yet almost hidden by the lush Dempsey greenery, Morsel’s interiors are inspired by its verdant surrounds with hanging plants, tableside flowers and repurposed wooden furniture; even the walls have been repainted to resemble the weathered qualities of barn wood. Chef-Owner Petrina Loh fuses her kitchen experience, with her inspirations to dish up wildly creative dishes which are ingredient-driven, and pay homage to food memories from her childhood. Proudly serving fusion food that marries flavours of sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami; these, paired with specially curated list of wines, sake, craft beers and house-infused cocktails, ensure a memorable meal at Morsels.
