Peranakan culinary Doyenne Violet Oon will be presenting an evening showcasing the treasures of the Nyonya garden. Violet Oon has unearthed some rare fruits and vegetables from our Grandma’s front garden – Buah Binjay, Nangka, Belimbing, Daun Kledek. Daun Kadok are featured in an exciting and rarely served rich compilation of traditional Peranakan dishes encompassing barramundi, Jumbo Prawns, Lobster Medallion and Rib Eye Steak. For Dessert – a trio of treasures – Kueh Kochee, Kueh Sarlat and Kueh AmbonChef Violet’s creations will be paired with the wines of Cape Mentelle.
